At the latest Invictus Event in Star Citizen, I had the chance to check out some incredible ships and vehicles. Here are a few of my favorites:
Idris:
The Idris is a massive capital ship that truly impresses with its sheer size and power. It boasts formidable firepower and a hangar for smaller ships, making it a versatile and imposing presence in any fleet. Although not “flight-ready”, I can’t wait to experience the inaugural voyage. You are going to need a large crew to be effective, but those who do will be feared among the stars.
Polaris:
The Polaris, a capital-sized corvette, was a sight to behold. Equipped with seven turrets and sixty missiles, it definitely packs a punch. It also has a hangar for deploying a light fighter, adding to its tactical versatility. For me, the Polaris is the perfect size for a large ship experience. It’s not too big to require a massive crew, nor is it too small to be ineffective when you need the big guns.
Medical Ursa:
Space medics rejoice! The Medical Ursa is here! This first ground vehicle designed for rescue missions does not disappoint. It’s equipped with medical facilities to provide critical care in the field, ensuring injured citizens can be stabilized and transported safely. I’m not a fan of the new respawn mechanics, but that’s a topic for another day. In the meantime, we'll enjoy this new medical addition to our fleet.
Pulse:
This little guy didn’t impress me on paper, but as soon as I took it for a spin, I became an instant fan. The Pulse is a sleek and nimble ship that excels in speed and maneuverability. It’s perfect for scouting missions and quick getaways, making it a favorite for pilots who love fast-paced action.
These vehicles and ships truly stood out to me at the Invictus Event, showcasing the depth and variety Star Citizen has to offer. Can't wait to see them in action! What was your favorite ship from Invictus?
