Dear RS1 Members and Fans,
In a recent mission, our team at Rescue Squad One tackled the unpredictable and hazardous terrain of Ghost Hollow in Star Citizen. This mission stood out in a cinematic way.
Upon receiving the distress signal from Ghost Hollow, we planned our approach with utmost caution, landing at a safe distance to avoid direct combat. The fog of the area added a dramatic tone as we prepared to navigate through unknown dangers, including a new and unexpected challenge—the recent addition of wild animal dogs to the game. Their barks echoing in the night added an eerie layer to the already tense atmosphere.
Our team was immediately put to the test, fighting off not just hostiles but these ferocious new animals. This required quick thinking and adaptability, pushing our tactical skills to the limit. After a considerable effort, we secured the area, allowing us to focus on our primary mission: rescuing the injured player. We provided essential medical assistance and ensured the area was safe for extraction.
While we successfully completed the mission, several team members sustained injuries, necessitating a stop at the hospital at Port Tressler for treatment. This mission was a reminder of the importance of teamwork and preparedness.
Thank you to all the members of Rescue Squad One and our supporters for your continued dedication and engagement. Your commitment motivates us to become the best organization we can become.
Fly safe,
D.J. Soto
